Project Experience Borg-Warner – Development of detailed, client-specific machine guarding evaluation and training for automotive parts manufacturer. On-site review with key staff to review machine configurations. Training included hazard assessment, guarding fundamentals, all relevant regulations and standards and group study problem solving. Bristol Myers-Squibb – Safety management on a wide range of construction and renovation projects for manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. Services provided at New York and New Jersey facilities. Developed and administered on-site contractor safety management protocols for all contractors working within the projects. Effectively audited and strategically improved Bristol Myers-Squibb Pharmaceuticals/ Puerto Rico bulk chemical, finishing, and packaging operations. An approximately year long project included the research and audit of corporate and local construction safety management practices. Improvement strategies relating to management structure, organizational culture, operational constraints, contract execution, and contractor relationships for process construction were submitted to top level management. Central Piedmont Community College – Safety training for the Outreach Program and New and Emerging Business Program for this Mecklenburg County (NC) based community college. Ferguson Electric Construction Co., Inc. – Full-time Resident Safety Professional at corporate office and available to all work sites addressing the issues of documentation, training, audits, orientation and compliance. Review and revise corporate Safety Manual. Savage Services – Review of operations at multiple facilities and preparation of site-specific training program/materials development and presentation for locations of Chemical and Material Railroad Transfer Operation. Programs included 24-Hour Hazardous Waste Site Worker, 10-Hour General Industry Safety, 6-Hour HM126 DOT, 16-Hour Break Bulk Operations, Facility Security, and Food Grade. Secretary of Labor v. Bianchi Trison Corporation – OSHRC Docket 01-1367 & 1368. Provided technical review and support for safety and health cases dealing with Three Rivers Stadium demolition and implosion.
