The Small Business Safety Assoc. (SBSA) is group designed to provide cost-effective Safety, Health, and Environmental solutions for small businesses.

Think about it…….Do you really get help from your insurance company, your agent or broker, workers’ compensation groups, or regulatory agency such as OSHA and the DEC? When you do, is it on target, useful, and timely? Our clients and SBSA members prefer the correct answer, backed up with real world experience, given in a timely manner.

The Small Business Safety Assoc (SBSA) was a group developed by OSEA to provide quick, easy, and accessible advice to safety and health compliance related issues. OSEA developed the SBSA to assist the small business person in complying with the ever-increasing regulatory work environment. OSEA possesses the resources that will allow small businesses to become compliant. Quite simply, partnering with OSEA is like hiring an entire Regulatory Affairs Department! SBSA allows you access to resources.

This group has grown due to its simple philosophy and easy access to timely, accurate, expert guidance on these complex issues.

Membership is based on the size of the business, and for an annual fee, SBSA members receive:

1. Unlimited ACCESS to experienced OSEA consultants in 3 regional offices, via a toll-free HELPLINE, who will provide accurate consultation on Safety, Health, and Environmental issues.


2. Annual CONSULTING HOURS. Member companies can use pre-planned consulting hours to complete a variety of tasks including: Safety Audits, Safety Program Development, Contractor Assessment, Environmental Program Review, Workers’ Compensation Analysis, Confined Space Review, Job Safety Analysis, etc.


3. A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER to keep members current on regulations, events, and methods of achieving compliance.


4. PREFERRED RATES for future services including on-site consultation and certified training courses.
