Ready to Defend: When Running or Hiding Isn't an Option

Tuesday, July 10, 2018 Joe Coniglio

Have you ever found yourself leaving the office late, possibly the last person there, and felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up? Have you ever walked to the parking lot after a long day and there was a stranger standing in your vicinity, and you didn’t know who it was? Have you ever had someone pull up next to you in a car at the gas station and wondered, simply by the look they’re giving you, if they were planning to attack you? Have you ever wondered if you got caught in an active shooter situation where running and hiding was not an option, what would you do? Lastly, have you ever had someone bigger or more powerful than you put their hands on you? Restrained you against your will?

Unfortunately, these are real world events and scenarios we could all very possibly face in life. Violence can happen to anyone, at any age, at any time. You need to be prepared. More importantly, you need to be prepared in a way that you feel comfortable and confident, in a way that you could give one heck of a fighting chance to save your life or your family's. Too many people are intimidated by self-defense classes because they don’t know if they’ll look stupid in practice. Trust us, you won’t. Other people figure it costs too much money or is a waste of time. Trust us, its not. Outside of the primary goal of self-defense courses or martial arts, which is to learn to defend yourself, they also help in many other areas. These classes support muscle growth, stamina, flexibility, concentration and confidence. We hope to see you at our first ever course on August 23, 2018 - sign up here now!
